Paul David Lee

We are all saddened by the passing of Paul Lee on Saturday, October 16th, at his home outside of Coe Hill. His wife, Mary, brothers Pete and Zane, and sister, Sharon Wisnowski (formerly of cottage #635) were all at his bed side. When they lived on the Lake, Mary and Paul had found it onerous to evacuate in winter and obtain emergency health care, so they moved to Coe Hill in 2006. But, the cancer recurred with a vengeance. He remained comfortably at home.

Lived on the Lake from the late 60’s until 2006.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that any donations be made to the North Hastings Hospice in Bancroft, whose volunteers paid daily visits to offer assistance, palliative care, and support in his last few months. Thankfully, Paul’s condition was such that he was able to stay at home instead of the hospice.

A memorial service is planned for Sunday, November 21, 2010, 4:00 p.m. at Limerick Community Centre in Coe Hill.
