Future Logging Plans: 2011-2021
The Forest Management Plans 2011-2021 for the Mazinaw-Lanark Forest and Bancroft Minden Forest are in the early stages of the planning process with input from the Forest Management Planning Team. There will be several opportunities for further public input, the first of which will start approximately June 3rd, 2009. Notification of this will be posted in regional media sources and mailed to those members of the public who have added their names to the mailing list. The LWCA is on the mailing list and we will report on the plan at AGM.
The MNR has recently activated a new public website which contains digital copies of Electronic Forest Management Plans and Annual Work Schedules for those members of the public who wish to access more detailed information regarding forest management activities. (Click Here)
