Logging update May 2008 around the Weslemkoon and Otter lake area
The following is the work as reported by MNR throughout the past year.
Work schedule Apr 1, 2007 to Mar 31, 2008:
- Logging around High Dam Lake, Block 147
- Salvage operation of the "July 2006 Wind Storm Blow Down" area located about 1 Km northwest of Lake Weslemkoon
- Site preparation for selected planting on Block 166
The following is work planned by the MNR for the upcoming year.
Work schedule Apr 1 2008 to Mar 31 2009 (see maps for block locations and harvest details)
- Logging around High Dam Lake, Block 147 continues
- Logging east side Smith Lake block 164
- Logging south side of Canoe Lake block 135
- Selected planting on block 166 east side of Otter Lake
